Company History

Entry Into The Steel Industry

2000

Song Than Galvanizing Co., Ltd. was established on 14th July, 2000, with its headquarter in Song Than 1 IP, Binh Duong province.

The Foundation

2004

Overcoming the challenges from the early days, Song Than Galvanizing Co., Ltd. has focused on its infrastructure and manufacturing capacity to establish a solid footing in the Vietnamese steel industry at the time. It was from this basis that Song Than Galvanizing Co., Ltd. saw its first ever export shipment to Cambodia and subsequently to Laos – marking a new milestone in the company development history.

2016

With a strong domestic market share and support from the export sector, construction started on the new plant - ‘Song Than Steel Co., Ltd.’ at My Xuan A IP, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province to meet the increasing demands from the ever-growing market.

Commercial Product Launch

2017

Song Than Steel Co., Ltd. introduced its first ever commercial products, Marking an important developmental phase in the history of the company.

CCL Went Into Production

2019

The Continuous-colour Coating Line (CCL) officially went into operation in 2017, marking a new milestone for Song Than Steel Co.,Ltd in terms of its manufacturing capability.

Pre-Painted Steel Brand : Song Hanh

2023

Song Than Steel Co., Ltd. introduced its first ever pre-painted steel brand – SONG HANH Pre-Painted Steel. In addition, we also successfully manufactured EG Steel Coil (Electro Galvanzied Steel) on a trial basis, becoming the f irst company in Vietnam with sufficient capacity to manufacture this product.
