The makeup of colour-coated steel
Pre-painted steel is comprised of mild steel as the base layer, the protective metal-coating and finally the paint layer. Mild steel allows for ease of shaping processes while the metal coating protects the steel from corrosion and the paint layer gives the product a more appealing appearance.
